The Othmar Huber Foundation

The foundation was established in 1979 by ophthalmologist and art-collector Othmar Huber from Glarus. Its holdings comprise only artworks listed on the original foundation inventory, comprising paintings, sculptures, and prints as well as drawings. The majority of these artworks are kept in the Kunstmuseum Bern, while the Kunsthaus Glarus and the Argauer Kunsthaus each house smaller segments of the collection. The foundation’s goal is to preserve artworks and to make them as accessible as possible to the public.
