The database THE GURLITT ESTATE provides access to the entire estate of Cornelius Gurlitt (1932–2014).

All artworks and artefacts are illustrated with photographs of the front and back, and described with basic data as well as the provenance information available so far.
In the field “Provenance Status” the current state of knowledge on historical changes of ownership is assessed according to the categories of the Kunstmuseum Bern.
The credit line provides information on ownership and the processing status.
The database is continuously updated with any new research results.
The research reports of the Kunstmuseum Bern are available on request.
