Rudolf Mumprecht. «white black red»
Rudolf Mumprecht, painter and etcher, was born 1918 in Basel and grew up in Berne. The Kunstmuseum Bern honors Mumprecht on occaison of his 90. birthday with a presentation of a selection of his works.
Mumprecht is not only intereseted in languange as an information medium but also in the form, characteristics and rhythm of the signs and their relationship to the pictorial space.
